DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 21\, 1pm-3pm Admission: $10/Family of up to 5\; Activities: FREE! SOHS Hanley Farm\, 1053 Hanley Road\, Central Point Join in the Southern Oregon Historical Society's 75th Anniversary celebration at SOHS Hanley Farm's "Family Concert & Ice Cream Social." There will be live music performed by Bob O'Luney (aka Bob Haworth) Amazing One-Man Band\, face painting and\, of course\, Ice Cream! The Ashland Amphibious Fire Engine will be on display\, just waiting to be climbed on and explored. The engine got its curious name in the 1948 Ashland flood. As the engine was crossing the bridge to Lithia Park\, it collapsed and dumped the engine into the creek! The engine was rescued\, and made its last public appearance in a 1992 wedding. It languished in storage until the spring of 2017\, when it was donated to the SOHS and restored by SOHS volunteers. Since then\, it's been a busy little engine!
