SUMMARY:First Tuesdays Pub Talk: "Nuggets from the Archives"
DESCRIPTION:Named for President Andrew Jackson\, Jackson County was created in 1852\, the twelfth county created in Oregon. Join Mary as she tells you more about Jackson County's early\, day-to-day operations. "Nuggets from the Archives\," the December 3 presentation\, begins at 7pm\, upstairs at the Four Daughters Irish Pub\, 126 West Main. Talks last about an hour\, with ample time to ask questions afterwards. First Tuesdays Pub Talks are a series of free\, monthly historical talks sponsored by the Southern Oregon Historical Society.
