DESCRIPTION:JACKSON COUNTY LIBRARY SERVICES HOSTS FREE FLU SHOT AND COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS \n\n\n\nMedford\, Oregon (September 20\, 2021) Jackson County Library Services (JCLS) will host free flu shot & COVID-19 vaccine clinics at the following branches: \n\n\n\nAshland Library on Tuesday\, September 21 from 11:30 a.m.  1:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nRogue River Library on Tuesday\, September 21 from 2:30 3:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nMedford Library on Friday\, September 24 from 11:30 1:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nEagle Point Library on Friday\, September 24 from 2:30 3:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nThis service is available for free to the community. Walk-ins are welcome\, but registration for an appointment is encouraged\; visit jcls.org/local/stayhome-resources/ to register. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nAfter mandating COVID-19 vaccination (or weekly testing) for all staff during the August 18\, 2021 board meeting\, the JCLS Board of Directors recommended Wellness 2000 to provide free vaccine clinics for staff and patrons. Nurses from Wellness 2000 will administer both flu shots and the Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations. Flu shots are available for all ages. The Moderna vaccine is only available for adults ages 18+.
