DESCRIPTION:Important public comment opportunity!  The Joint Committee on Transportation is visiting the Rogue Valley next week as part of their Roadshow tour of Oregon. The Committee\, made up of State Representatives and Senators\, will be holding a public comment session from 5pm-7pm on Thursday\, August 8th. You can provide public comment in person or via Zoom. The meeting will be held at the Mace Building at the Jackson County Expo. \n\n \nRVTD WILL PROVIDE A FREE SHUTTLE TO THE FAIRGROUNDS ON AUG. 8TH.\n\nA free shuttle will leave Front Street Station in downtown Medford at 4:00pm\, 5:00pm and 6:00pm. The shuttle will leave the Fairgrounds back to Front Street Station at 4:30pm\, 5:30pm and 7:15pm. Shuttles are ADA accessible.\n\nThe information gathered at each of these meetings will be used to help legislators develop a plan in next year's session\, including transit funding. The plan is aimed at maintaining critical infrastructure\, completing work on major projects while guaranteeing the safety and diversity of transportation systems across the state.
