The Central Pont Parks and Recreation Department will bring fun and games to a park near you this summer as part of its mobile recreation program - Rec &\; Go! The goal of the Rec &\; Go program is to get kids and families out of the house by providing them with a wide vareity of recreation activities at parks near their homes. This free program will take place at neighborhood parks throughout Central Point and will be staffed by two parks and recreation personnel who will lead organized activities for both kids and adults.Kids Activities: \;Activities may include organized field games such as Capture the Flag\, Parachute Games\, Omnikin Ball and much\, much more. There will also be a variety of arts and crafts projects available. The program is flexible so it can serve just a few kids or larger groups. \;
\n\nFamily Game Nights: \;Family Game Night will provide an opportunity for families to come out to a park and play corn hole\, bocce ball\, or some of our giant games such as Jenga\, Checkers\, and Uno! Bring the whole family out for a night of fun!
\n\nSpecial Events: \;The Rec &\; Go van will be a regular feature at all Central Point Parks and Recreation events this summer including Movies in the Park and the Freedom Fest. Also\, the Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating Parks and Recreation Day on July 18 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Twin Creeks Park. Everyone is invited to celebrate our parks and enjoy all the Rec &\; Go program has to offer. \;
