DESCRIPTION:Oh my! Ghosties. witches\, and ghoulies will soon be lurking in your fields and gardens! To protect your home from these prowling creatures\, make your own scarecrow at Hanley Farm's 14th annual "Scarecrow & Harvest Festival." Scarecrow-making kits with everything you'll need to make your scarecrow will be available for purchase. You haven't made a scarecrow before? Not to worry\, volunteers will show you how! And when you've finished your scarecrow\, you can take it home\, OR enter it in the "People's Choice" scarecrow contest and pick it up on Sunday at 3pm.\n\n \n\nAdditional Festival activities include: Hanley Farmhouse tours featuring historic quilts\, pumpkin painting\, apple bobbing\, cider-making\, paper quilt square making\, children's games\, and much more! Take a fall family photo with the big pumpkin. Enjoy a self-guided tour of Hanley Farm's gardens and grounds! Bring a picnic lunch or purchase one from the Toasted Cheese truck. SOHS will also have popcorn\, cookies\, apple cider\, water\, and more available for purchase. And if you're feeling lucky\, guess the weight of the giant pumpkin in a 50/50 raffle.
