SUMMARY:Victorian Fashion at Historic Beekman House
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited about our September 15th Victorian Days event at Jacksonville's historic Beekman House!  We are partnering with the Southern Oregon Historical Society to present items from their collection that depict the evolution of 19th Century fashion from the 1830s to the 1890s with mannequins displaying vintage clothing from SOHS and Historic Jacksonville docents wearing period reproductions that showcase appropriate attire for a typical day's activities.  This was a unique period in history--and fashion history--and these 1-hour tours between 11am and 3pm provide a unique opportunity to explore aspects of it.  Tours begin every 15 minutes and only cost $5.  We would love to share them with your audience and believe that your audience would also appreciate the opportunity to revisit fashion history.
