Central Point\, the third largest city in Jackson County\, has a rich history. Alice Mullaly\, retired educator and current researcher\, presents the May Windows in Time talk\, &ldquo\;Central Point: A Crossroads Through Time&rdquo\; on Wednesday\, May 1 at the Medford Library\, 205 South Central Avenue\, and Wednesday\, May 8 at the Ashland Library\, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard\, from 12:00 p.m. &ndash\;1:00 p.m. at both loca-tions.

\n\nCentral Point&rsquo\;s history is as old as any in the Rogue Valley\, and this small\, fast-growing com-munity has adapted over the years to changing circumstances and continues to do so. Always home to colorful characters\, and with a &ldquo\;can-do spirit\,&rdquo\; Central Point&rsquo\;s reputation as a Fair City is true in multi-ple ways. Alice&rsquo\;s illustrated talk will introduce the audience to some of the people and events that make Central Point special.

\n\nAlice Mullaly grew up in the area of Central Point and has called it her hometown for many years. She is a volunteer at the Southern Oregon Historical Society&rsquo\;s Research Library and collected most of the photos and information from sources there.
