Christmas at the FFArm- “An Old Fashioned Christmas”

We are excited to welcome you to the Crater FFA Land Lab to join us for an old fashioned Christmas! By supporting this cause, you are helping to support the youth of Crater FFA--and, also, have yourself a fun, old fashioned Christmas!

FFA is a nationwide youth development organization centered on developing leaders and educating youth about agriculture. Members at Crater High School develop businesses and other agricultural experiences, learning valuable life skills such as dedication, responsibility, public speaking, record book keeping, leadership, and so much more. They compete in events ranging from agriculture mechanics to public speaking to agricultural sales to vet science (and beyond!).

This fundraiser started years ago as a simple Christmas tree sale run by the Crater FFA Alumni with the help of Crater FFA members. Over the years, it has morphed into an agricultural educational experience. The design of this fundraiser is based off a business plan developed by members of the Crater FFA, who competed at National Convention with it. As our wonderful volunteers have moved forward with the event, it has taken on a life of its own, growing to meet community needs and educate so many people on agriculture. Throughout the first week of December, elementary students will get to come on field trips and participate in our Kid's Zone, while also getting to see the farm and how it works. We will also have a night specifically dedicated to CASA families. We are honored to give back to the community that has given so much to us.
