Annual Wreath Making at Hanley Farm
The holidays are here! Plan to make your own Holiday Wreath, Saturday, November 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hanley Farm. Make your wreath using all-natural materials clipped from the trees and bushes that grace the farm.
Wreath making kits that include what you’ll need to make your wreath will be available for only $15 for non-SOHS Members, and $10 for SOHS Members. The kits include grapevine base, choice of greens and berries, some ribbon, and wire and clippers. We suggest you bring additional ribbon, along with ornaments and trimmings to compliment what’s provided in the kit. Don’t worry if you haven’t made a wreath before, there will be volunteers to help and give wreath-making advice!
There will also be children’s activities, and Santa will be at the farm too! Children will definitely want to spend some time with Santa, whispering their holiday secrets in his ear. Great photo opportunity, yes?
And that’s not all! Those who participated in the October Scarecrow Festival at Hanley also had the opportunity to purchase delicious food prepared by Crepe Me. Crepe Me was so well received, and their food so absolutely delicious, we were afraid they would not be able to fit us into their holiday schedule! We’re pleased to say Crepe Me has agreed to return to the farm, and their fantastic cuisine rounds out this day of family fun and wreath making.
