Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Be a part of Central Points first annual NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS program coming this June 25th and 26th.

We need as many groups, organizations, service clubs, churches, scouts, city, chamber, sub committees and YOU the neighbors of our community to be a part of this community event, "NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS"

What do we need from you? 

. Get as many people to come out this weekend to help your neighbors
in the Central Point Community by helping with odd jobs that individuals are not able to accomplish. Odd jobs could include, weeds pulled, lawns mowed, fence repairs, minor fix it jobs, minor painting, bush trimming, dump runs, etc., OR it may be your neighborhood in general needs weeds pulled in the sidewalks, litter needs picked up etc. 

You get the idea, look around your neighborhood and see what needs to be done and who needs the help. Please be respectful of your neighbors some neighbors may not like you helping so just be respectful and use good judgment. 

. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER NEIGHBORS HOMES WITH INSIDE REPAIRS ETC!)

. This is completely volunteer so you will use your own tools.

. This is NOT an organized event. You don't call a number and have someone come over it's just neighbors being neighborly by helping their neighbors and cleaning up their neighborhoods. So coordinate as many people you can to participate in this neighborhood project. It's a WIN WIN for everyone. 

. Please use good judgment DO NOT ENTER A NEIGHBORS HOME, these minor jobs are outside only. If you have a bad feeling about a home please do not go onto their property. 

So CENTRAL POINT how can you help? Can you be a good neighbor and be a part of this great event? It's a great thing to get your kids involved, it shows compassion, and shows you care about your neighbors and your community.
