The Fourth of July is more than a parade or festival. It’s a gathering of people celebrating our independence through a variety of activities. The day begins at 6:45 am, with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Boy Scouts Crater Lake Council, followed by a 5 k and fun run sponsored by the City of Central Point Parks and Recreation Dept, then Parade with over 82 float entries from floats, bands, car clubs, equestrian entrants and other visual treats. Immediately after the parade, the Festival in Pfaff park includes free kids activities, live music, food vendors and artisan booths. The evening ends with the Medford Chamber’s RED, WHITE & BOOM fireworks display at the Jackson County Expo!
