SOPA Visits Hanley Farm
The Southern Oregon Photographic Association (SOPA), one of 33 member-clubs in the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs, is a group of local photographers sharing their passion – photography! SOPA has been a gathering place for Rogue Valley photographers since 1961, offering photographers the opportunity to learn, compete, and network. Hanley Farm is pleased to welcome the Association as our featured guest, June 24. Several outstanding photographers will exhibit their work in the pavilion, and other SOPA members will be present to answer questions about photography and demonstrate photographic techniques. To learn more about SOPA visit www.sopacameraclub.com.
In addition to viewing SOPA members’ beautiful photography, be sure to take a Hanley House tour, and visit with Rhonda Nowak, The Bard’s Garden creator. Rhoda will give you a tour of Shakespeare’s garden, talk about some of the food he mentioned in his plays and how to make those same tasty treats at home!
Sunday, June 24. Farm Hours: 12pm-4pm, House Tours: 1pm-3pm. Admission is free! Hanley House tours: $5/adults; $3/SOHS Members and Children, 12 years and younger. 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point. The farm is open every Sunday up to and including September 2.
